1. Summary
Luma does not collect any user data. All processing happens locally on the user's Mac.
2. Information Luma Handles Locally
Luma may handle the following information locally on the user's device. This information is not transmitted to WayMaker Labs or any third party.

All of the above remains on the user's device.
3. Information Luma Does Not Collect
Luma does not collect, transmit, or store:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers
- Location data, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers
- Usage analytics, crash reports, diagnostics, or advertising data
- The body, title, or path of documents created or opened by the user
- Payment information; Luma is a paid Mac App Store app, and the app itself does not receive or process payment details
4. Network Use
Luma does not connect to the internet.
- App Store updates are handled by macOS and the Mac App Store under Apple's policies.
- The Luma app itself does not contact external servers.
- Markdown editing, Mermaid rendering, font rendering, and settings all work offline.
5. Third-Party Services
Luma does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or tracking services.
6. Children's Privacy
Luma does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because Luma does not collect information from any user, this applies equally to all age groups.
7. Security
All information Luma handles remains on the user's Mac. Luma follows the macOS App Sandbox and file permission model, and accesses only files the user explicitly opens or approves.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the product, law, or operating requirements change. When a meaningful change is made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
